Synopsis; The unforgettable true story chronicles the tumultuous three-month period in 1965, when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. led a dangerous campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition. The epic march from Selma to Montgomery culminated in President Johnson signing the Voting Rights Act of 1965, one of the most significant victories for the civil rights movement. Director Ava DuVernay’s “Selma” tells the story of how the revered leader and visionary Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and his brothers and sisters in the movement prompted change that forever altered history.

Watch Selma Full Movie: Passionate, informative, and tenderly told, Ava DuVernay’s vision of Martin Luther King Jr. and his fight for voters’ rights is fully realized in her newest film “Selma.” Written by Paul Webb, the film is ambitious, moving, and features a performance fit for the history books from David Oyelowo. It’s one of the single best things you can see in 2014.

Watch Selma Full Movie: In a time where the state of our country is in disarray over race and politics, “Selma” hits our doorsteps at the right time for both sides of the coin to indulge and see how far we’ve come, or how little we actually have. “Selma” shows the good and the bad, the perfect and imperfect characteristics of one of the most important figures in the fight for civil rights. There’s respect, which goes without question, but there’s an emotional and raw honesty that DuVernay and Webb choose to tell us about the man who was Dr. King. She doesn’t paint the rosey picture you’d come to expect from standard biopics these days. She lays it out, leaving us to decide for ourselves if something outside of what he contributed to our country is great enough to look passed. DuVernay offers in many ways, the single best direction of the year.

selma movie

Watch Selma Full Movie: Invigorating from beginning to end, David Oyelowo owns every frame of the picture. You don’t see performances like this too often especially of a real-life figure like MLK. I go back to works like Denzel Washington (“Malcolm X”), Ben Kingsley (“Gandhi”), and George C. Scott (“Patton”) to find a more jaw-dropping or complex acting performance. Something like this only seems to come around once a decade. This may be our decade’s. It’s more than just the embodiment, it’s the decisions in the silence that makes Oyelowo so amazing. You will remember this performance forever.

Watch Selma Full Movie: The entire cast does an admirable to amazing job in their respective roles. Carmen Ejogo is simply electrifying as Coretta Scott King. An impeccable example of wearing the emotions and feelings at the brim without letting go. Just sensational top to bottom.

Selma movie

Watch Selma Full Movie: Despite some hiccups in the accent department, Tom Wilkinson and Tim Roth are serviced well as Lyndon B. Johnson and George Wallace. Both have their opportunities to stand out in their respective scenes but ultimately stand as reminders that we are eagerly waiting to get back to Dr. King.

Watch Selma Full Movie: DuVernay’s triumph comes from the extras and smaller name cast she utilizes as sprinkles in every instance that they appear. Stan Houston as the treacherous Sheriff Clark is superbly focused and embodies the mindset of every unfortunate person of hate during the time. Henry G. Sanders and Keith Stanfield in many ways become the heart and soul of the film without no more than just a few moments of screen time. Oprah Winfrey and Lorraine Toussaint also execute their roles proficiently.

Selma movie 2014

Watch Selma Full Movie: The slick and vivacious manner in which “Selma” is assembled is thanks to the genius people behind the camera. Cinematographer Bradford Young is just too great at what he does at this point in his career. With another stunning framing form in J.C. Chandor’s “A Most Violent Year,” he rises in the ranks to join Roger Deakins and Emmanuel Lubezki as one of the most exciting DP’s. Spencer Averick’s editing keeps “Selma” on pace, and engaging 100% of the time. Jason Moran’s score is palpable and justified in every sense of its usage.

Watch Selma Full Movie: “Selma” is just a joy to behold, a magnificent example of passionate filmmaking that lacked sorely in 2014. It propels DuVernay among the ranks of the best filmmakers working today. Naturally brought to tears, it’s a gut-wrenching and honest look into our history. Fulfilling, promised, and profound. One of the year’s best films.

Arthur Christmas (2011)
Director: Sarah Smith, Barry Cook
Cast : James McAvoy, Jim Broadbent, Bill Nighy

Click Here to Download Arthur Christmas Full Movie

Synopsis; Arthur Christmas reveals the incredible, never-before seen answer to every child’s question: ‘So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?’ The answer: Santa’s exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But at the center of the film is a story about a family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero, Arthur, with an urgent mission that must be completed before Christmas morning dawns.

Watch Arthur Christmas Full Movie: Arthur Claus (James McAvoy) is the bumbling son of the reigning Santa, Malcolm Claus (Jim Broadbent). Arthur is relegated to the Letter Department where he can presumably do no damage. Arthur’s brother Steve (Hugh Laurie) is the heir apparent to the title of Santa. Steve is handsome, confident, and in charge of the North Pole command center that monitors Santa’s gift-giving flight around the world. The film opens with a bravura set piece showing how Santa is able to stop in millions of homes in one night. Hint: he has the help of thousands of elves.

Watch Arthur Christmas Full Movie: When Arthur discovers that one gift was accidentally undelivered, he becomes determined to get it to the unfortunate girl before Christmas sunrise. Even with the help of his retired grandsanta (Bill Nighy) and a perky elf (Ashley Jensen) from the Wrapping Department, can Arthur travel around the world in time?

Watch Arthur Christmas Full Movie: There have been many movies over the years where Christmas must be saved from disaster, but Arthur Christmas has a very creative take on it. From the opening scene where it’s established that Santa is really a dynasty through the centuries, a title handed down from father to son, to the paramilitary operation to get millions of presents delivered in one night, to the misadventures of Arthur and his grandsanta as they try to make sure one little girl is not disappointed, Arthur Christmas is fun, creative, and original. Produced by Aardman Animations in association with Sony Pictures Animation, this CGI animated film delivers Aardman’s distinct brand of quirky humor and style.

Watch Arthur Christmas Full Movie: The art direction maintains the slightly skewed look of an Aardman claymation film. The character designs are asymmetric and the surface textures are realistic yet bold. The North Pole command center and Santa’s high-tech sleigh are clean and modern.

Arthur Christmas movie

Watch Arthur Christmas Full Movie: Sometimes celebrity voice talent backfires, but here it works beautifully, the English accents lending a sense of gravity that heightens the silliness. Bill Nighy is particularly good, conveying wisdom that is tinged with resentment of the modern gift-delivery methods his son and grandson use.

Watch Arthur Christmas Full Movie: Arthur Christmas is a funny, heartwarming, and poignant look at the Santa Claus mythos, adding a family dynamic that will resonate with children and adults. I expect Arthur Christmas will become a joyful holiday favorite for years to come.

Night at the Museum (2006)
Director: Shawn Levy
Cast : Ben Stiller, Carla Gugino, Ricky Gervais

Click Here to Download Night at the Museum Full Movie

Synopsis; In New York, unemployed and divorced Larry Daley is a complete loser. His son Nick is very disappointed with his father who is going to be evicted. Larry accepts the job of night watchman in the Museum of Natural History and takes the place of three old security guards that have just retired in order to raise some money and pay his bills. On his first shift, Larry soon realizes that everything at the museum is not as it seems as the statues begin to come to life after the sun sets. The Museum transforms into complete chaos with the inexperienced Larry in charge as he learns that an old Egyptian stone that came to the Museum in 1950 brings these statues to life until dawn. When Larry brings his son to spend a night with him, the three old guards break into the Museum to try to steal the magical stone. Larry organizes all the historic characters to help him stop the criminals and save the museum.

Night at the Museum movie 2006

Watch Night at the Museum Full Movie: In Night At the Museum, Ben Stiller plays his usual role as a good-hearted schlemiel thrust into a humiliating situation that he ultimately emerges from with a small measure of heroic dignity. In this instance, his character, Larry Daley, is an out of work weekend Dad who is about to be evicted from his apartment once again and thus lose the last shred of admiration his ten year old son has for him. To keep both the apartment and the son’s affections, he accepts a job as night watchman at a New York City Natural History Museum, where an Egyptian tablet has for some decades administered a powerful magic spell that causes history literally to “come alive.”

Night at the Museum Full Movie

Watch Night at the Museum Full Movie: Each evening, the museum’s wax and bone denizens, human and animal alike, become animate, leave their various encasements and displays, wander the museum’s corridors, and raise havoc with museum property, each other, and, of course, Larry. The human cast of characters prominently includes Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Sacajawea ( Mizuo Peck), Attila the Hun (Patrick Gallagher), a miniature cowboy (Owen Wilson), and an equally diminutive Octavius Caesar (Steve Coogan) while the animal crew is headed by a capuchin monkey, a tyrannosaurus skeleton, and a pride of lions. As we ultimately learn, Larry (Stiller) has been selected for the job because he seems like a perfect stooge/fall-guy for the nefarious plans of three outgoing night watchmen (Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Bill Cobbs) he is ostensibly replacing. Night at the Museum is based on a clever farcical concept that – one might think – would serve as a perfect vehicle for Stiller’s comic persona. Unfortunately, something damaging intervened in the concept’s translation to an actual film, namely a screenplay that is short on laughs and long on predictability and sap.

Night at the Museum movie

Watch Night at the Museum Full Movie: Too many scenes in Night at the Museum fall humorlessly flat; for instance, Larry’s confrontations with the museum’s pompous but inarticulate curator. Others, like the Oprah style pop psychological healing of Attila the Hun’s inner child, are almost embarrassingly bad. The scenes with diorama miniature cowboys (headed by Owen Wilson) and miniature Roman army (led by Steve Coogan’s Octavius) are mildly amusing thanks to the efforts of the actors and neat special effects, but, again, suffer from an underwritten and unimaginative script. The scenes involving Sacajawea are completely pointless other than the riff on the pronunciation of the last syllables of her name (waya or weeya?) By the third repetition of the joke, it has been thoroughly emptied of the scant humor it contained on the first go round. And what can one say of Robin Williams’ turn as Teddy Roosevelt other than that it made one fondly recall the much funnier Teddy that stole scenes in the classic Arsenic and Old Lace? Except for one brief scene where Williams is allowed to release his inventive comic genius into a parody of African “Click” language, he is kept completely in check (and thus wasted) exhorting the Stiller character to rise to the heroic occasion, repeating Shakespearean chestnuts about having “greatness” thrust upon one, and mooning after/stalking Sacajawea with unrequited love.

Night at the Museum

Watch Night at the Museum Full Movie: Yes, Night at the Museum does evoke a few chuckles – most examples of which were included in the film’s ubiquitous trailers – but it contains surprisingly little physical humor and utterly lacks wit, unless one finds a scene between Stiller and the capuchin monkey concocted solely to justify the punch line “stop slapping the monkey” the height of cleverness. Most members of the audience I saw the film with didn’t think so, or they were too young or too old to get the joke. Which raises another issue with the film – what was the intended age group of its principal audience? Codgers who might delight in the bit parts of Hollywood legends? Boppers who might identify with the museum docent who upon meeting Sacajawea, supposedly the subject of her 900 page doctoral dissertation, is reduced to pre-verbal (“you rock!’) groupie talk. Kids needing a history lesson or amused by urine gags? No doubt the intent was “all of the above.” Unfortunately, that aim – as with much of today’s Hollywood fare – ends up reaching “none of the above” very satisfyingly.

Watch Night at the Museum Full Movie: Falling into the “Codgers” demographic myself, the chief pleasures of Night at the Museum for me were the brief opening scene played between Stiller and real-life mother, Anne Meara, and the amazingly energetic performances of octogenarian Dick Van Dyke and near nonagenarian Mickey Rooney, looking (and acting) better than he has in what? fifty years? I should also add some complimentary words for the film’s visual delights, highlighted by some stunning displays of forced perspective as well as the imaginative animation of a puppyish tyrannosaurus skeleton that enjoys playing fetch with one of its own colossal bones. All in all, though, Night at the Museum was a major disappointment.

Synopsis; Larry spans the globe, uniting favorite and new characters while embarking on an epic quest to save the magic before it is gone forever.

Night at the Museum 3 Secret of the Tomb

Watch Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb Full Movie: In spite of the absence of a number in the title, this is the third (and last?) film in a franchise that I have thoroughly enjoyed for providing inventive entertainment (imagine a fight sequence inside a MC Escher drawing). Each movie has been based in a museum I know well and this time we are in my home city of London at the wonderful British Museum which means that the Elgin Marbles and other artifacts come alive. At the heart of the franchise is Ben Stiller, a comic actor with deceptively understated style, and this time he gets to plays two very contrasting roles, particularly funny when his characters interact.

Watch Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb Full Movie: If there are weaknesses in this outing, they are that perhaps too many of the original characters are involved (meaning that screen time is spread rather thinly between them), there could have been more original museum characters (the main one is Dan Stevens as Sir Lancelot), and it would have been good to have more female roles (Australian Rebel Wilson as the BM security guard is effectively the only substantive one). And, of course, there is the sadness of seeing Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney in their last screen roles.

Watch Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb Full Movie: All that said, this is a worthy addition to a really fun franchise which has probably now run its course.

Mr. Turner

Mr. Turner (2014)
Director: Mike Leigh
Cast : Timothy Spall, Paul Jesson, Dorothy Atkinson

Click Here to Download Mr. Turner Full Movie

Synopsis; Mr. Turner explores the last quarter century of the great if eccentric British painter J.M.W. Turner (1775-1851). Profoundly affected by the death of his father, loved by a housekeeper he takes for granted and occasionally exploits sexually, he forms a close relationship with a seaside landlady with whom he eventually lives incognito in Chelsea, where he dies. Throughout this, he travels, paints, stays with the country aristocracy, visits brothels, is a popular if anarchic member of the Royal Academy of Arts, has himself strapped to the mast of a ship so that he can paint a snowstorm, and is both celebrated and reviled by the public and by royalty.

Mr Turner

Watch Mr. Turner Full Movie: Mike Leigh is perhaps best-known for his serio-comic social-realist dramas about contemporary British life, films like “Abigail’s Party” and “Life Is Sweet”, but he also seems to be developing a sideline in biographies of nineteenth-century cultural figures. First there was “Topsy-Turvy” about Gilbert and Sullivan, and now we have “Mr. Turner” about the life and career of the artist J. M. W. Turner. Or rather about the latter part of his life and career; when we first meet him he is already middle-aged.

Watch Mr. Turner Full Movie: Leigh has described Turner as “a great artist: a radical, revolutionary painter,” and this is undoubtedly true; Turner’s work, especially his later work, seems to prefigure Impressionism, perhaps at times even abstract Modernism. We must not, however, allow our appreciation of the progressive side of Turner’s work to degenerate into that lazy cliché about the great artist starving in a garret, scorned or neglected by his contemporaries but later discovered by a grateful posterity. (Very few great artists, except perhaps Van Gogh, have ever conformed to this stereotype). He was greatly admired by his contemporaries, was praised in the highest terms by many critics, especially Ruskin, became a full Royal Academician while still in his twenties, never lacked for patrons and died a wealthy man. By contrast his great contemporary and rival, John Constable, whose art seems much less radical to our eyes, had a much harder struggle to establish himself.

Watch Mr. Turner Full Movie: Leigh’s purpose in making the film was to “examine the tension between this very mortal, flawed individual, and the epic work, the spiritual way he had of distilling the world.” This tension is something very obvious in the film. Turner, especially in later life, was noted for his eccentricity. Unlike many working-class Georgians and Victorians who rose in the world, he never attempted to hide his humble origins. He was untidy, had no social graces and could be rude and tactless. He never married but had a number of mistresses. He was estranged from the first of these, Sarah Danby, and refused to acknowledge his two illegitimate daughters by her. (Sarah appears in the film as do two other mistresses, Hannah Danby Sarah’s niece and Turner’s housekeeper and Sophia Booth, a seaside landlady).

Watch Mr. Turner Full Movie: And yet this uncouth, boorish-seeming man was an artist not only of genius but also of a deep spirituality. His obsession with accurately recording light and atmospheric conditions- he once had himself strapped to the mast of a ship so that he could paint a snowstorm- was born not only of a concern with fidelity to nature but also of a belief that light was a visible manifestation of the Divine. (His last words are said to have been “The sun is God”).

Watch Mr. Turner Full Movie: How, then, could any actor hope to play so contradictory an individual? The answer to this question comes from Timothy Spall, one of Leigh’s favourite actors. Spall is someone I have normally thought of as a “character actor”, but here he gets the chance to prove himself as a leading man and makes the most of it. His Turner is a grumpy old man, and in his dealings with women something of a dirty old man as well, forever grunting and spitting and forever speaking in a sort of Cockney whine, and yet we are never allowed to forget that underneath his unpromising exterior he is a sublime artist. This is probably the finest performance I have seen Spall give; it won him “Best Actor” at the Cannes Film Festival and I hope that the Academy will bear him in mind when it comes to next year’s Oscars. There is insufficient space to single out all the deserving supporting performances, although I should mention Martin Savage as Turner’s friend and fellow-painter Benjamin Haydon, forever trying to borrow money off him, Paul Jesson as Turner’s father, to whom he was very close, and Joshua McGuire in a comic turn as an effeminate, lisping Ruskin, very different to the way Greg Wise portrayed him in the recent “Effie Gray”.

Watch Mr. Turner Full Movie: The other outstanding feature of the film is its visual beauty. Leigh and his cinematographer Dick Pope were clearly aiming to make it one of those films where every shot looks like a painting in its own right, and certainly succeed in this ambition. Some cinematic biographies of great artists, such as “Girl with a Pearl Earring” about Vermeer, do succeed in capturing the distinctive “look” of their subject, but I think that Leigh and Pope were not actually aiming to make every shot look like a Turner; their palette of colours, for example, is rather too muted for that. Possibly they felt that the peculiar luminosity of Turner’s work would be too difficult to reproduce on film. There are, however, some memorable shots, such as the opening scene by the river in Holland, complete with windmill, and the one where Turner watches “the fighting Temeraire” being towed up the Thames, thereby getting the inspiration for one of his best-known works.

Watch Mr. Turner Full Movie: I am not sure if “Mr Turner” quite justifies the label “masterpiece” which some have tried to pin on it; it can at times be too slow-moving for that. Spall’s wonderful acting, however, and Pope’s striking cinematography make it a film that stands out from the crowd. 8/10

The Theory of Everything (2014)
Director: James Marsh
Cast : Eddie Redmayne, Felicity Jones, Tom Prior

Click Here to Download The Theory of Everything Full Movie

Synopsis; A look at the relationship between the famous physicist Stephen Hawking and his wife.

Watch The Theory of Everything Full Movie: The curse of most biopics about famous individuals is that the films in question always boil down a subjects life to a “greatest hits” reel and then stuffs the rest of the run time with a sub-narrative to tie all these moments together. More often than not, this sub-narrative is a love story, which isn’t inherently bad; it’s just that when a proper balance isn’t struck between the major themes and the filler, the results are usually lackluster. “The Theory Of Everything” charts the tumultuous marriage of legendary physicist Stephen Hawking and his wife Jane as they struggle to keep their life together while Stephen slowly succumbs to the symptoms of ALS. And while it puts all of its efforts into trying to be a heartbreaking portrait of a strained marriage (a portrait that at times is quite beautiful), the movie seemingly forgets that one of its subjects also happened to be one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century.

Watch The Theory of Everything Full Movie: Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) and Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones) meet in college and forge a bond through the universal law of “opposites attract”. Jane believes in romance and poetry and God, while Stephen believes in logic and reason and the rejection of what he calls a “celestial dictatorship”. Jane is pursuing an education in the written word while Stephen seeks to find a unifying theory that can explain life, the universe, and everything. The two fall in love, only to face a roadblock when Stephen is diagnosed with a neurological disorder that threatens to destroy his motor skills one by one, giving him two years at most to live. Jane pledges to stay by his side, and although Stephen beats the odds and manages to live year after year, the struggles of caring for her crippled husband take their toll on Jane.

Watch The Theory of Everything Full Movie: If the above description seems like it forgot to mention that Stephen Hawking was a world famous physicist whose theories were revolutionary and world changing, it’s because for the most part, the movie forgets this too. The most we see of Stephen’s career is regulated to the beginning and end of the movie, with passing mentions made to the evolution of his work made whenever the film needs to remind the audience of where we are in history; such as in a moment shortly after the birth of Stephen’s third child, when his father mentions that Stephen is “world famous”. Having never seen Stephen working on anything beyond giving a lecture or two, we never actually see how he got to this point. It’s frustrating, because the film doesn’t seem to want to find a way to balance “Stephen the Husband” with “Stephen the Physicist”, and so we watch as The Physicist is shoved to the margins.

Watch The Theory of Everything Full Movie: Not that the story of Jane and Stephen is terrible, it’s just that its good moments are few and far in between. A lot of these struggles manifest in tropes so familiar, there was a point when I really felt that this could’ve been any story about a husband and wife dealing with the pain of a partner’s disease. The fact that it involves Stephen and Jane Hawking is, at times, almost entirely inconsequential. These flaws aren’t helped by some of the film’s problematic directing and editing choices. Certain scenes seem to trail on after they clearly should’ve ended, and important characters are thrown into the film far too late, only to disappear again without mention. When Emily Watson showed up almost an hour in without being identified, I was left baffled until Felicity Jones drops a “Mum” in her line to signify who she’s speaking to. Why are we meeting such an important person in Jane’s life, played by such a serious actress, this late in the movie? It’s just one example of some of the sloppy structure choices made by director James Marsh.

The Theory of Everything

Watch The Theory of Everything Full Movie: It’s only Eddie Redmayne, who truly makes his presence as an actor known here, that keeps the movie from sinking into the muddy bog of familiarity. As Stephen loses more and more of his basic motor skills, Redmayne finds ways to make every movement count, whether it’s a playful smirk or a downward glance of pain. His chemistry with Felicity Jones, who turns the inner conflict of Jane’s struggles into a revelatory performance of its own, is endearing; and when the two are allowed to flex their acting muscles they create some of the films greatest moments. Honorable mentions also go to Benoît Delhomme’s gorgeous cinematography and Jóhann Jóhannsson’s powerful score.

The Theory of Everything

Watch The Theory of Everything Full Movie: Ultimately “The Theory Of Everything” has joined the ranks of “Ray” and “Jobs” and “Dallas Buyers Club”: performance pieces more concerned with winning acting awards than telling a good story. As memorable as Redmayne and Jones are, their talents only serve to turn a film that would’ve been completely forgettable into “good but not great”. The Hawking’s deserved better.

Interstellar (2014)
Director: Christopher Nolan
Cast : Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain

Click Here to Download Interstellar Full Movie

Synopsis; In the near future, Earth has been devastated by drought and famine, causing a scarcity in food and extreme changes in climate. When humanity is facing extinction, a mysterious rip in the space-time continuum is discovered, giving mankind the opportunity to widen its lifespan. A group of explorers must travel beyond our solar system in search of a planet that can sustain life. The crew of the Endurance are required to think bigger and go further than any human in history as they embark on an interstellar voyage into the unknown. Coop, the pilot of the Endurance, must decide between seeing his children again and the future of the human race.

Watch Interstellar Full Movie: ‘Interstellar’ takes off by constituting its soaring ambitions right at the very first few sequences of the film: humanity is struggling to survive in a barely habitable Earth, already at the brink of total destruction. Earth and its resources is down to its last few moments, but when a wormhole, a medium that enables space time-travel beyond known limits, is discovered, scientists and ordinary men gather together, to begin an exploration that would take time-traveling through different worlds, in man’s desperate search for humanity’s place among the stars.

Watch Interstellar Full Movie: To fully understand ‘Interstellar’, its premise and its accuracy, may require repetitive thinking, research, and a certain level of intellect—perhaps the same level Nolan asked in ‘Inception’. But the film does not necessarily ask its audience to right away fully understand it, instead it begs you to feel it, to experience its dilemmas and tragedies and go through the same threads of emotion tangled up within the web of humanity’s last possible moments, and the relationship between a widowed father and his children already leaning toward an anticipated end. Nolan’s made sure that even the film’s ideas are too far-fetched and may seem resting on towering intellectual grounds, it would nonetheless connect to its audience by delivering its message through emotionally-charged tales of human relationships, tangible enough to be felt and experienced.

Watch Interstellar Full Movie: At its core, is retired NASA engineer, Cooper (McConaughey) and his relationship with his children—most strikingly with his daughter, Murph. Cooper’s emotional journey—the decision he has to make whether to leave his family behind or join the quest to search for a new habitable planet—alone, serves as an effective vessel to transport the audience from Earth, right from the moment the spacecract ‘Endurance’ takes off from the ground, to the unknown limits of the cosmos. McConaughey delivers a stunning and highly-commendable performance, and while I can’t say its his best, as I’ve managed to have seen only a few of his movies, I can certainly say it’s one of the best I’ve seen from any actor, so far, and he may be owing that to Nolan’s impeccable direction. McConaughey’s incredibly brilliant portrayal of a loving father places him at the center of the story. There are plenty of nail-biting sequences here depicting his devastation after the choices he needed to make and still has to take, and in each one, he never fails to effectively convey whatever emotion the sequence requires him to deliver.

Watch Interstellar Full Movie: Nolan’s mastery of his craft screams in deafening volumes through his unblemished capacity to explore and raise the layers of the film’s characters and put their stories in right places and in valid highlights within the film, and that works best with the help of brilliant musical score orchestrated by the equally impeccable Hans Zimmer. Added with breath-taking cinematography and spectacular visual effects, together, these elements, make ‘Interstellar’ capable of weaving a human story powerful enough to intrude through our delicate emotional senses, delve into our humanity and still go beyond that. Nolan’s managed to tread through the film’s seemingly absurd scope and ambitions without losing focus on the one powerful element that seems to keep the film’s aspects bonded together: LOVE. As chiché as it may sound, that may be the only thing that is right away understood and easily felt in the movie. There are a lot of questions raised, and each one poses another, but none of which really requires immediate answer, and by not losing grasp of the mystery of love, and the power it can deliver to make human connections tighter and even closer amidst the ever widening physical distance between the characters in the film, Nolan comes out victorious in making the audience feel and understand ‘Interstellar’ and have its questions answered, in a way that doesn’t necessarily oblige us to just think, but also to make our emotions work as well, so we can have the experience the film wants us to go through.

Watch Interstellar Full Movie: Sure, it can’t be perfect, I myself noticed that it lacks focus with its narrative (this either because I find it hard to solve Nolan’s puzzle-like construction of the story—LOL—or the narrative’ s really not just that good. If you have seen Memento and Inception, the construction here is somehow similar as those two) and some respected critics even argue this one can’t be Nolan’s best, and I haven’t seen all his works yet, either, but for me, it really isn’t that hard to put this on the list of the best sci-fi movies I’ve seen so far. Nolan has put up together a perfect ensemble of outstanding actors, whose powerful performances, IMO, are enough to cover the flaws. Not a single bit of every actor’s potential is put into waste, here; everyone has a star to shine in this universe Nolan created. Hans Zimmer’s music seems to never go out of sync, in fact it almost always goes in harmony with the dramatic highlights of the film. Visual effects is never less than top-notch; the imagery presented in this film is utterly jaw-dropping, so expect to have your breath being repeatedly taken away by the frequent outburst of colors effectively employed to establish distinctions between the dimensions. All those elements are satisfyingly sufficient to create the deciding impulse needed to bring the movie to where it aims to arrive.

Watch Interstellar Full Movie: ‘Interstellar’ is a thought-provoking and mind-enriching motion picture, a grand and brilliantly depicted visual spectacle not bereft of human emotions, one of the best of its genre in a very long time. If this movie gets proclaimed as a classic in the coming decades, that definitely isn’t going to come out as a surprise.
